Should I use fresh garlic or garlic powder?

You can use both fresh garlic and garlic powder, but I often prefer garlic powder. The problem with fresh garlic is that no matter how finely you mince it, it may not get evenly distributed on the bread. But mixing some garlic powder with butter and spreading it on the bread means that the taste of garlic is infused in every bite.

3. Mix everything thoroughly until you have a soft, rich garlic-butter with those hints of green from the parsley. Spread this on both sides of the bread. I also added a tiny bit more of parmesan cheese on top for that extra cheesy goodness.
